Howie Reeve is een unieke kracht binnen de Britse underground. Na meer dan 20 jaar in invloedrijke bands uit Glasgow te hebben gespeeld, staat hij sinds 2012 solo op het podium met zijn akoestische basgitaar. Zijn muziek is fragmentarisch, speels en virtuoos, met invloeden uit post-punk en avant-folk.
Met zijn steeds persoonlijker wordende songs en mysterieuze, soms ontregelende teksten weet hij zijn publiek echt te raken. DIY tot in de kern, altijd onderweg, en nu dus gewoon bij ons.

Howie Reeve is a unique voice in the British underground. After more than 20 years playing in key Glasgow bands, he has been performing solo since 2012, using acoustic bass guitar to create fragmented, dexterous music that blends post-punk and avant-folk.
His songwriting has become increasingly intimate and cryptic, drawing audiences in with lyrics that can be both personal and unsettling. A true DIY artist, always on the move — and now stopping by with us.
