Get ready for an absolutely EPIC evening of queer matchmaking, friendship, community, and PowerPoint presentations.
My Friend Is Single, Hear Me Out is a chaotic but wholesome night where people present their single (and ethically non-monogamous) friends to a room full of potential admirers – PowerPoint style.
Think funny slides, honest reviews, embarrassing stories, green flags, niche interests, passionate recommendations, and maybe a few lovingly exposed red flags. Is your friend a catch? A future soulmate? A perfect gym buddy? A DnD campaign member? A disaster you somehow adore? It’s time to make your case.
Each presentation has a maximum length of 5 minutes, so make every slide count. Memes, charts, testimonials, statistics, screenshots, dramatic storytelling, and creative formats are highly encouraged.
After all presentations, audience members can anonymously indicate which people they’d like to connect with. If there’s mutual interest, we’ll handle the matching and exchange contact details after the event.
Duo Ticket
For the presenter ("pitcher") and the person being pitched. Bring your friend, create your presentation, and let the room know why they’re amazing (or at least entertaining). The person being pitched must be present at the event.
Double Trouble Ticket
For two friends who want to pitch each other! You each get your own presentation slot and your chance to convince the audience why the other person deserves a date, a friendship, or a fan club.
Single Ticket
For audience members who want to meet the people being presented. Watch the pitches, cheer people on, and anonymously submit your interest at the end of the evening. Perfect for anyone looking for friendship, romance, dates, connections, community, or simply a very entertaining night out.

Want to be pitched, but no introverted friend to do it for you? Zan (the organiser) will step in and pitch you! With this option, please send your information and materials at least 3 days before the event so there is enough time to prepare a presentation.

Presentation Submission
After purchasing your ticket, please send your presentation to queerevents010@gmail.com as soon as possible and preferably no later than the day before the event. For You Pitch Me tickets, please send your materials at least 3 days before the event.
