We zijn blij onze samenwerking met IFFR voort te zetten om Rotterdam-gerelateerde films te vertonen, een sociaal betrokken sfeer te creëren en ruimte te bieden voor gesprek, terwijl we na elke vertoning samen genieten van heerlijke snacks.
Voor onze eerste editie van IFFR Filmclub X Dokhuis na de 55e editie van IFFR presenteren we twee bijzondere korte films: Op Haar Schouders en Regen in Augustus, verbonden door thema’s als menselijke kwetsbaarheid en verbondenheid. Beide films zijn intieme werken die de kracht en kwetsbaarheid tonen van mensen die zich bewegen binnen complexe realiteiten en hun plek in de wereld proberen te vinden, terwijl zij zoeken naar verbinding en richting.
Filmclub is een initiatief van International Film Festival Rotterdam (IFFR). Filmclub zorgt ervoor dat (aankomende) filmliefhebbers, jonge filmmakers en creatieven bij elkaar komen op verschillende plekken in de stad om films te kijken en interesses uit te wisselen. In de filmclub in Dokhuis kijken we films van Rotterdamse makers of met een Rotterdams tintje.
Entree is gratis, met een donatieticket zorg je ervoor dat ook andere activiteiten in Dokhuis gratis kunnen plaats vinden.

For our first session of IFFR Filmclub X Dokhuis following the 55th edition of IFFR, we present two remarkable short films: Op Haar Schouders and Regen in Augustus, united by themes of human fragility and connection. At the Film Club in Dokhuis, we focus on films by Rotterdam-based makers or with a local Rotterdam flavor.
